How has God loved me?
By sending messengers
1 John 4:9-
9 ‘God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.’
I will see and know God’s love for me by the person he sends to me. When I am in sin and someone comes to me to speak to me, God is showing me his love.
When I am walking in darkness or I misbehave and someone corrects me, I am experiencing the Love of God. Notice the people who corrects you, they are God’s messengers and their presence shows God loves you.
If no body ever comes to me to correct me of my evil ways, it means the Lord’s love is far from me.
This could be that he has sent so many people to me but I didn’t heed so he has stopped sending.
The messengers of God can come in many form:
Parents, siblings, Pastors, teachers, preaching messages, books etc.
As we heed to their voice, God can have more space in our hearts and our relationship with him will become better.
Today accept his messengers, they are his love for you .
