Sin separate us. It is a wall that come between relationships be it with God or between humans.
Isaiah 59:1-2 days ‘Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear. ‘
Have we not heard ‘ I will never talk to him/her again because of …..’
Some times with humans, when we confess it we may be forgiven but God always forgive us when we confess and forsake our sins. 1 John 1:9 says ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ‘
Isaiah 1:18 says ‘ Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18, KJV)
In Rom 5:6-8 , we see that while we were in sin, While sin had separated us from God, he came to look for us to restore us. ‘
‘6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’
The wonder of God’s love is that we did not love God and our sins also separated us from him but he came into our world( your world of sin) and saved us. He went over the wall to rescue us and brought us back to himself and gave us his Spirit to teach us. What a wonderful love ❤️.
‘Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10, KJV)’
When you are caught up in sin, come to him no matter what, confess your sins to him. Ask him to restore you and give you his Spirit to help you walk with him.
