“for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began”.
Luke 15: 24
No matter how far we go away from God, he will always receive us back to himself if only we repent and turn back him. The prodigal son came to himself and went back to his father.
“17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him”. (Luke 15:17-20)
The Lord’s arms are opened wide to receive anyone who is ready to let him into their lives. He paid the highest price for our salvation on Good Friday, and as we celebrate his death, may we also give him our lives 🙏.
“…….him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out”. (John 6:37, KJV)
Let us pray 🙏
Father thank you for Jesus and thank you for the price that was paid for our salvation. Help us to live daily remembering the price you paid for our freedom so that our lives can please you .
Amen 🙏
