Weaknesses

Weaknesses

Isaiah 53:4 “ Yet it was our weaknesses He carried; it was our sorrows that weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God for His own sins!”

Do you have a weakness? I do. The list of weaknesses is so long that I cannot finish listing them, and were I to want list them, I do not also know every weakness there is in the world. One thing that I know is that we all have a weakness. We are sometimes aware of them, and are other times not aware of them. Someone’s strength is another person’s weakness; which is why our own righteousness could not save us; because God sees our righteousness as filthy rags “But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6, KJV)
Certain people normally put measures in place to help them manage a weakness, while others live with them and lament about it.
The verse above says “yet it was our weaknesses He carried;” Do you have a weakness? What are you doing with it? The word says He has carried it already. Today, present to the Lord Jesus that weakness and ask Him to take it off you. Until you see the results, don’t stop praying about it. Luke 18:1 says “men always ought to pray and not faint”.
