For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10, KJV)
Jesus once said without me, you can do nothing ( John 15:5) – meaning everything we do in the sight of God is nothing if is not done in Christ. The verse above says we are His masterpiece and He recreated us in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. There are some good works that we are to do as new creations; have we discovered them yet?
In Jeremiah 1:5 the Lord told Jeremiah that “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”.
Jeremiah found his good work , have you found yours?
If you are saved and do not know what you are supposed to do, pray and ask God.
If you are not saved, ask Jesus into your heart because, there has to be a recreation, before the plan of God can be unfolded.
One day, we shall appear before the judgement seat of Christ and give account of our lives to him. ( 2 Cor 5:10).
Good works done in him will yield a good reward.
