“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11, KJV)
The Oxford dictionary defines overcame as “succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty.”
We go through many troubles and are often times under one attack or the other. Some people are under constant fear of many things; the fear of death, the fear of an illness, the fear of an attack, the fear of losing our spouses, the fear of our children going wayward or being abused. Fear constantly afflicts our souls. Sometimes we go through lifes issues that make us so depress and therefore lose hope. The verse above says “we overcame him” meaning the troubles came, the fear was real but by the BLOOD of the lamb, the enemy was defeated. Begin to declare your freedom by applying the blood of Jesus over your issues. Begin to claim back lost battles, order the enemy to move out by the blood of Jesus.
We will always overcome the evil one. It might not be the way we want it to be but, we will surely overcome the evil one.
