(Matthew 5:38–42)
Jesus said,
“If someone hits you, turn the other cheek.
If they take your coat, give your shirt too.
”
Sounds wild, right?
But Jesus wasn’t saying let people walk all
over you. He was teaching us a better way
than getting even: the way of kindness and
strength.
In His kingdom, we don’t fight hate with
hate. We overcome evil with good. We
don’t match someone’s bad behavior — we
rise above it.
It takes real courage to be kind when
someone is mean. That’s what makes you
more like Jesus.
🧠 Think About It:
How can you respond kindly to someone
who hurts your feelings?
🙏 Prayer:
Jesus, help me not to fight back in anger,
but to answer with love. Teach me Your
way. Amen
