“Therefore, since we are

surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us.”Heb 12:1

Because every one of us has been given a unique race to run during our time here on Earth, the WORD warns us against comparing ourselves to others as stated in 2 Corinthians 10:12. Now, the term endurance in the scripture indicates that we may face challenges as we run our races. What should we do, according to the Bible? Run the race with endurance.

If you are like me, the least resistance means run away as fast as you can  like Jonah but we know what happened to Jonah. Col 1: 11 says “We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power so that you will have all the patience and endurance you need. May you be filled with joy,”.

We need to ask the Lord to strengthen us with his power so that we can endure and run our race to the end.
