“Scripture:
“You are the salt of the earth.” – Matthew 5:13
Reflection:
Salt makes food taste better and preserves it from spoiling. Jesus calls you the “salt of the earth,” meaning your life should add goodness and truth to the world. Our lives should help people not to go to hell by showing them the way and our lives should help people not to backslide by interceding for them, and doing any other activities that will help build others. As a Christian, you are called to make a positive difference by living in a way that honors God.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for giving me purpose. Help me to be “salt” that brings out the goodness in every situation. Amen.
Life Application:
Do something today that makes your environment (home, school, or community) better.”
