“Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”John 14:9

Many people wonder what God is really like. Some imagine Him as distant, angry, or impossible to please. Jesus came to correct those ideas. When we look at Jesus how He spoke, loved, forgave, and cared for people we are seeing the heart of God on display.

Jesus showed kindness to the ignored, patience with those who struggled, and compassion toward the broken. He welcomed children, spoke gently to the hurting, and challenged those who were proud. This matters because it tells us that God is not cold or unreachable. He is personal and deeply involved in our lives.

For teens, this truth is powerful. When you feel unseen, misunderstood, or judged, Jesus reminds you that God sees you clearly and loves you fully. You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Him. Jesus shows us that God meets us right where we are.

Knowing what God is like changes how we approach Him. We don’t come in fear—we come with honesty. We don’t hide—we trust. Jesus invites us into a relationship built on love, not pressure.

Reflection:
When you think about God, do you see Him the way Jesus revealed Him?

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for showing me who God really is. Help me trust God’s heart and draw closer to Him each day. Amen.
