“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6
Many people believe that being “good enough” will bring them closer to God. Others think religion, rules, or effort will fix the distance they feel inside. Jesus makes it clear that none of those things are the answer. He didn’t come to show a better system—He came to be the way Himself.
Sin created a gap between humanity and God, one we could not cross on our own. Jesus stepped into that gap. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He opened the door back to relationship with God. This means you don’t have to earn God’s attention or approval. Jesus already made the way.
For teens, this truth brings relief. When life feels confusing and faith feels complicated, Jesus simplifies it. Following Him is not about perfection; it’s about trust. He leads us to truth when lies surround us and gives life that goes beyond surface happiness.
Jesus is not one option among many—He is the way to real life with God.
Reflection:
Are you trusting Jesus to lead you to God, or trying to find your own way?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for being the way back to God. Help me trust You fully. Amen.
