But Why?

“From prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the people realized that he was dying for their sins-that he was suffering their punishment? Isaiah 53:8

5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (Isaiah 53:5-7KJV)

But Why? Why did Jesus have to go through that?

Because of us, our sins. If Jesus didn’t do that, none of us would have our sins forgiven. We would have remained in our quilts without anyway out. That was why he went through that.

Heb 9:22 says “And almost all things are purified with blood according to the Law, and apart from blood-shedding there is no forgiveness.”

Jesus has done us good, what can we give in return?

Let’s pray 🙏

Lord Jesus, thank you for the cross, thank you for your love. 🧡 Please forgive all my wrong choices, wash my heart with your blood and be the Lord of my life. Help me to lead a life that please you .

Amen.

Amen 🙏
