One on one

Have you ever noticed that Jesus dealt with people individually?
His encounters were deeply personal, never merely about the crowd. To Matthew, He simply said, “Follow me.” (Matthew 9:9)

To the woman caught in adultery,
He said, “Go, and sin no more.” (John 8:11)

To the woman at the well, He said:
“If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink…” (John 4:10)

Jesus met each person exactly where they were in their life’s journey. Their circumstances were different, their struggles were different, and their stories were different. Yet He responded to each one with truth, grace, and love.

The same is true today. Jesus deals with us individually. No two stories are the same, but the beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ is that He does not condemn us because of our past. He never says, “Your story is too messy, too broken, or too sinful for redemption.”

Jesus is Lord over every kind of sin. There is no life He cannot transform and no heart He cannot cleanse.
The Bible says:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23 (KJV). Notice that it says all have sinned. Every person is included.

The consequence of sin is serious, but God did not leave us without hope:
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”Romans 6:23 (KJV).

That gift is Jesus Christ. His sacrifice is sufficient for every sinner, every failure, every mistake, and every burden. This is why He is called,
“the Saviour of the world.”John 4:42 (KJV).

God’s gift is available to everyone. No one is excluded from His invitation of grace and salvation. The question is not whether the gift is available. The question is: Will you receive it?
